Most Americans have some experience with nursing homes or other long term care settings, and nearly half have had a family member or close friend in a home in the past three years.

We are here for you...

Maple Crest Manor, established in 1976, was constructed out of a need for a skilled nursing home in Fayette, Iowa and any individual wanting to call us home. Starting out as a 55 bed, twenty-four hour skilled nursing facility offering both private and semi-private accommodations, we have since continued to grow.

In 2003, the Board of Directors of Maple Crest Manor had Senior Housing Consultants, Inc. of Cedar Rapids do a market study and feasibility analysis to determine if Fayette could support and use an Assisted Living.  They found there was a definite need and desire not only for Fayette, but an interest and need from surrounding communities.  From this, The Maples Assisted Living became a reality.  It now provides a safe alternative to living at home and provides more independence than moving into a nursing home.

Ten years later in 2013, the board again saw room for growth within the venture of Alzheimer's and dementia care. With the ever increasing number of Alzheimer's and dementia patients, an analysis of past, current and future consumers once again proved that Fayette and the surrounding areas sought a sort of middle ground for those in need of dementia care who were unable live on their own, but not yet ready for the nursing home. From this, Maple Memory Lane Memory Care Assisted Living was created. One of the first of its kind in the area, Maple Memory Lane has paved the way in creating an alternate option when searching for your loved one's care choices.

Together these various healthcare opportunities create what is now proudly known as Maple Crest Campus. We have been serving the community and surrounding areas for more than 45 years and are constantly growing and changing to better meet the needs of our senior citizens.
